Diba Restaurant Vancouver – Website Design & Integration

The Diba Restaurant website was designed to capture the authentic charm of Persian cuisine and the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant's interior, located in the heart of Vancouver. As the Technical Lead and Web Designer at Side Agency, I was responsible for the full development and execution of this project, with a strong focus on mobile responsiveness, performance, and user experience.

Key Features:

• Visually engaging design that highlights the restaurant’s warm interior and authentic Iranian dishes.

• Clear and intuitive menu presentation with categorized food items and high-quality imagery.

• Seamless integration with the restaurant’s in-house online ordering system and major delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

• Fully responsive layout optimized for mobile-first interaction.

• Image gallery showcasing both the ambiance and the dishes.

• Interactive menu sliders for dynamic browsing of each food category.

• Connection to Google Business Profile, displaying the restaurant on Google Maps and enabling customer reviews.

• Custom reservation and order forms, synced with the restaurant’s CRM for streamlined customer follow-up.

• Careful image optimization for fast loading speeds without compromising visual quality.

Challenges:
Managing a high volume of food photography was one of the biggest challenges. Each image had to be resized and optimized to maintain quality while minimizing load times. Creating a fully responsive design that accommodated multiple sliders and dynamic content—especially for mobile users—required precision and performance-focused development.

This project demonstrates a successful blend of visual storytelling, technical integration, and conversion-focused design for a modern restaurant experience.
